Tatekagome Mixing Glass
by: Japanese Bar Tools
Ideal for mixing Manhattans and Martinis this Japanese mixing glass is inspired by the original Japanese art crafts founded in the EDO period, about 180 years ago. This mixing glass is sure to be the star of your bar collection.
Stirred...NOT shaken James! Cocktails that use distilled spirits with only very light mixers like Manhattans and Martinis develop a velvety texture when stirred. Stirring is a more gentle technique used to delicately mix and cool cocktails while adding the perfect amount of dilution and keeping them bright and crystal clear. Made in Japan, the seamless smooth interior makes for a perfectly silent stir (technique required).
